Samsun, Türkiye | 22–28 September 2025
The IASON+ Project Summer School, hosted in Samsun, Türkiye, brought together partners, experts, young participants, and local stakeholders from the project countries — Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Georgia, and Türkiye — for a week full of collaboration, learning, and exchange of experiences.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in partner and steering committee meetings, stakeholder workshops, field visits, and youth sessions — all focused on understanding and protecting the ecosystem services of delta areas in the Black Sea Basin.
The activities encouraged dialogue between researchers, decision-makers, NGOs, and young people, promoting innovative approaches to address the challenges posed by invasive species and to support the sustainable management of delta ecosystems.
The Summer School concluded with a joint forum that highlighted the main outcomes and strengthened cooperation networks for future initiatives within the IASON+ partnership.
A week dedicated to knowledge, collaboration, and commitment to protecting our shared natural heritage.
